if so how do you cook it
and what is the best lure and bait.

Yep pretty good eating when fresh, firm white flesh. They're pretty aggressive and will take most lures, any hardbody bream lure, soft plastics, and celtas (the spinning things) should work. I find the best way to cook 'em is just gut them then straight over the fire/hot coals (they have very tough scales, not worth trying to scale I reckon). When its cooked you can just use a fork to get all the meat off the frame pretty easily. Not sure how you'd go if you can't use an open fire, can try fillets if you want. Bit of garlic, butter, salt & pepper and its tasty as
