River Jewfish (Johnius borneensis)

Anyone know much about the River Jefish? Been catching a few recently and wondering what they are like on the chew?
My book says they only get to 20cm but the brag mat tells a different story, wonder how big they really get?

Nope, its from the Pilbara. Not a northern jew, notice how his mouth is underneath, angled downwards almost. The northern jew's mouth is straight.

I'd like to take the compliment but it was one of the fellas at work who caught it. We have caught them slightly bigger but initially we thought the same as mulloway hunter and chucked them back. It was only through working closely with Fisheries that we discovered it wasnt a Northern Jew.

think ive seen a couple from
think ive seen a couple from the Adelaide river N.T to 70 odd cm, almost like a black jew but mouth looks a bit different
