Rock fishing rod and reel ideas

Just keen to hear other peoples suggestions of which rod and reel would be ideal for heavy rock fishing.
I'm planning a few trips over the next 12 months and Quobba is at the top of the list.
Budget is healthy but I'm trying to set some limits for myself. If I can keep it under $700 for rod and/or reel that would be good. I've already got a 10K and 25K Saragosa, but might invest in one more reel yet.
The main question is, which rod would others suggest? Thanks.

For bait or lure? A high
For bait or lure? A high speed reel for lure fishing or just use your 10k Saragosa with a suitable rod if mostly bait fishing.
