I am going to be out of Internet range for the next few days. Freo will bounce back, Sydney, Crows, Richmond. Saints and Roos in upsets, Melbourne and the Hawks. And I really have no idea about port / pies.... I should say port, bease I don't think the pies defence can stand up. But then I think port aren't travelling too well either.... sitting on the fence...... I think maybe pies only because it's in melbourne.

Four changes for freo.
Four changes for freo. Sandi, Ballaz and Hill speak for themselves and probably add about 8 goals to freo... Ballaz will kick four, hill will deliver to four forwards to advantage... Sandi will hit fyfe or mundy at least twice in stoppages inside fifty. Ibbotson will take a few intercept marks stopping several opposition opportunities. None of them will be flat as they have had TWO weeks off! Mora was quiet against the saints, sylvia hasn't impacted as he should. Griffen struggled first game back. Tabener is going to be a fringe player for at least another year. Changes were expected and they have come. I am excited about son son's return for hawthorn.....

Wow, a win is a win, didn't get back to my room until half way thru the second quarter and we played with 20 players for most of the game. We always win when we get 12 goals, but this was cutting it close. You can roll up your towel now Tim-o and take it back to what ever gay place you got it from.

I don't give two crap whatever criticism you want to level at Freo. We played crap. And we got 4 POINTS for it. Not pretty. Not premiership quality at the moment, but we burgled 4 points and the coaches have a week to work on what's going wrong. In the end the ross Lyon game plan of defend defend defend and you're never far out of the game worked out well on this occasion.
And I just have point out the shining light in the freo team tonight was nat fyfe. He us just a wonderful player.

Go back and watch the tape and concentrate on how much was handed out to Crowley. And why is so much handed out? Because he is very good at what he does. The free kick he gave away for throwing Murphy to the ground was retaliation for an elbow to sternum. A lesser player may have resorted to a cowards punch.... The in the back free kick close to goal was the softest I have seen all year. Seems murphy was the protected species tonight. But all Crowley did was just get on with his game....

There wasn't much to like about Fremantle's game last night except the game that Fyfe played. It's the first time for a long time that I can remember when a Freo player has singlehandedly won a game. But Fyfe's last quarter was something special. His bullocking strength through the congestion is wonderful and aerial ability amazing. Ineligible brownlow winner 2014....
