Straight out of the 2018 rule book, I came across the following:
Fishing gear
Legal fishing gear is outlined below; everything else is illegal.
Rods, lines and hooks – you can only use a maximum of three baits or lures on each line.
Does this mean that 5 or 6 hook sabiki rigs are actually illegal?

True , those little bait jigs either come in 6 tied together , or the odd brand brand has two sets of 3 .
and as mentioned you could bust as many fishers as you want to , down at ammo jetty or e shed everyday of the week.
Ganged hooks , however how many count as 1 , and when using xxl gardies or sauris , we run as many as 6 or 7 on a gang ,
usually say 2 x 7/0 followed by a 2x 5/0, and then finished of by a couple 4/0, it jiggles around like a wind chime, but keeps the bait
shaped straight when bait casting them.

With Sabikis,
Ive always thought with the 6 hook sabikis they weren't illegal unless all hooks were baited

def only 3 sets of hooks per rod and to my knowledge your only allowed to have 2 rods in use at any one time, correct me if im wrong
