Had the same problem with mine just the other day. Turned out to be a pretty quick fix on mine. One of the pawls was a bit sticky with salt residue and the little spring wasnt strong enough to throw it out. To get into it just remove the spool, then remove the lock on the nut around the centre shaft and undo the nut. Inside that housing that slides off is the anti reverse. Just clean the pawls and give them a light oil until they throw out freely from there springs. Hope that sorts it out for you

yep, i did have the same problem
fixed once under warranty, then did the same thing again, so pushed hard to get it replaced, which the bluewater guys did the righty on.
havent had any problems since. young bloke uses it now who pulled up 18kg then 14kg silver cod things two drops in a row from 65m and worked a treat.
