Safety gear and clothing on boats

Went out for a fish last week in the sound when the better half noticed that the majority of dinghy fisho's were wearing hi-vis jackets or t-shirts. It was good to see as the clothing stood out like dogs balls. I recomend that our non powered brothers think about wearing this type of clothing as you cannot miss a person wearing it.

verry true, it would make it much safer for the yakkas if they stood out like the proverbial , i could just see a bunch of bright orange or fluro yellow objects floating around on the water, you couldnt miss them

Yeah it is good if you got washed in off the rocks or you needed rescuing.  If I was in a spotter plane or a boat searching I would prefer to be looking for someone in hi-viz than a blue or camo shirt :)
