Sandy Cape on Fire

The three bushfires are burning in Roleystone, Brigadoon and surrounding suburbs and Sandy Cape.
Hope it doesn't spread to Green Head and Leeman, lot of open bush between towns up that way, take care people

Sandy isnt on fire, was just at the lookout and it is fine.....for now. The fire is about 6km inland from there and about 8km north of Jurien East rd. If the wind swings in from the nth many of us will be in a bit of trouble. Keeping a close eye on this one.

that only got that Sandy Cape was on fire on the perthnow. site, thats good news. Was up at Leeman a couple of weeks ago and there was a fire at the back of the lake inland and was told by the Park manager if they knock on our door, to be prepared to evucate the park, but thank goodness the good vollie fire fighters put it out and thank goodness no wind, if it had been a easterly think the whole town of Leeman would have been in trouble.
