Sea Bass or Sea Jigger rod

Hi guys
I see some new styles of rods coming in for lure casting. They are often call Sea Bass or Sea Jigger rods. What is the difference between the 2 styles. It seems to me that the Sea Bass rods are much slower in their action while the Sea Jigging rods are stiffer. Does this seem about correct?
Basically I am looking for a rod to use for salmon, tailor and if lucky (unlucky) small YTK's at rotto. Mainly casting 2oz poppers and plugs, 60g slices, but also stick baits. I have looked at the NS Hurricanes in the lighter models but the cast rating is quite low...but still a bloody nice rod.
Any comments appreciated.
Cheers
Brad

From what I've seen the sea
From what I've seen the sea bass rods have a lighter tip action and used for working minnows and stickbaits. Not many around that can cast out 60gram slices though.
Shore jigging rods have a more parabolic action and heavier tip for chucking out heavier metals and jigs.

PM Aussie_Breamer possibly.
PM Aussie_Breamer possibly. When I have been fishing with him, i was using a 7' TCurve 5-10kg with a stick bait and he was whipping a 40g Twisty on his Sea Bass type rod. He was literally getting 4-5x what I could cast!
