Sea Rescue Donation

Hey Guys

Every month at work we have a casual for a cause free dress Friday and last year I requested Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue as our cause and this is happening tomorrow so we'll raise a few hundred for the volunteers who watch over us on the water.

I just got a call from a colleague who I've worked with for 10 years and get on really well with who used to tell me about her brother's fishing trips but she hasn't mentioned anything recently. She rang to tell me that this one is very close to her heart as it was her brother that was lost at sea off Mindarie in 2016 and asked if she can do a write up to encourage everyone to really tip in tomorrow as she says how amazing Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue were in her family's dire time of need. Pretty heartbreaking stuff!

Can I ask everyone to consider making a donation no matter how small this weekend even if it's your local VMR to give back to the crews that are there day and night to make sure we all get safely back to our families.

Cheers

JF

they are always a good cause. it was a friend of ours that went missing only a couple of weeks before that in coral bay.

we always donate to sea rescue when they have raffles or sausage sizzles at the ramps and when we go away we always pay a visit the the local group

Website all OK

Fri, 2018-02-23 12:22

The website is back up. We have some issues over the last few days but seems to be all OK now.

Thank you for thinking of us (WVSRG) when raising money. Although with DFES we are not 100% funded especially for capital expenditure such as replacement of vessesl and equipment. All donations are gratefully appreciated.

I join / donate every year

I join / donate every year to Whitfords- in fact the renewal just arrived. Small price to pay given the comfort we all get when using these services all up and down the coast. Get on board with your local VMR gents...
