selling stuff

I have a lot of lures and rods some used some not, a lot of hard to get stuff at short notice,

my question is what do buyers think of bank transfer deposits as method of payment to me, and me being busy getting goods sent off at the end of my working week  by Australia post,

I am new to this as I myself only deal with shops that do bank transfers, so I am used to parting with money first then waiting for my funds to clear in their account, then wait for them to send me product,

what do members of fishwrecked think?

cheers syd

Set up a pay pal account and get the coin transferred to that before you release - that has always worked for me when selling on ebay

If your selling to members on

If your selling to members on here , you've been around long enough for punters to be confident to transfer cash .. just put a detailed script of goods and pic .. so they don't bag you lol .

Yep, have bought a few things from members, as I don't live around the Perth metro area where the majority of members live I generally pay via bank transfer and wait for items to be sent, haven't had a problem.

What items are you thinking of selling?

Aus post

Aus post takes a bit longer than most air freight / road companies ;) and the tracking is horrible.

Try startrack / and or toll priority :) more than likely cheaper too

Australia Post usually 3 -5

Australia Post usually 3 -5 days.

Buy some 3kg satchels from Toll Priority or Toll IPEC - Pretty cheap and usually delivery next day. My family is in the East and I use them to send small items over. These bags leave here say on a Monday night and are delivered to Country NSW next morning. I actually work in the Road Express industry and this delivery time spins me out.
