Pt Perron
Pt Perron is a great shore dive... If you park in the main carpark and walk over to the north side of the point (over little hill).... Longish swim (200m) for the good stuff but where you will see an exposed rock (looks like a shag) there are some great caves, including one monster, that you can go through...
Other than the one big cave there are a few more out the back and some good swim throughs - plenty of crays over the years (I haven't done a shore dive there this year as I got a boat last year).
I generall swim along surface on my back and go down near the main reef directly out... only about 10m at its deepest.

thanks Bones76
sounds great but the swim through a bit hard as we will be on hoses but worth going over for a look anyway, always good for a pic or two

No worries... There'll
No worries...
There'll be plenty for you to see and ledges to look under. Nudibranches, nice coloured fan's and crays.... if you get the chance look for the entry to the big cave, which is just north of the "shag shaped" rock - entry is on the bottom - small hole which comes out at the back end of the reef.
Just watch out for surge - bad days are bad down there...
Cheers
Paul.
