me this morning was amazed, lost for words
Fishing for Sharks in South Australia, using Whole Snook as bait.
Drag went crazy Massive Run then Big hook up, Fightin time 30 minutes.

says theyre only found in QLD in Australia no where else mmm looked alot more prehistoric than the picture tho weird looking spines central to its shell almost like a Crocodiles spikes in its back

They have even been spoted up

They have even been spoted up here before. Qld is just the only place they are found regularly. So there is a chance it was a leatherback, looked like one.

its a leather back for sure. common on the west coast here, not sure about SA. Seen one in the sound last season.

Good turtle capture MAN.

At least they let it go. IMO must have been old/sick to get hooked. And also where it is, poor thing.
