New Lemax Grand Master jig rods

The Lemax Grand Master came out a few months ago, built for lure weights ranging between 60-150g and light weights between PE 1-3.  It comes in two sizes which have lengths of 6'1" (60-150g) and 6'6" (60-120g).  Both sizes are made for spin reels and match up well with something around the traditional 4000 / 5000 size. There is an overhead model too but these aren't in Oz.

The rod is built around a high-modulus graphite blank with EVA rod grips, Fuji reel seats and Lemax’ custom silicone carbide guide system.  A new innovation for this rod is the adjustable butt length which allows you to reduce or increase the length of the rod's butt.  Unscrewing the butt cap and back section of the rod, then replacing the cap on the new end section can reduce the length of the rod's butt from 32cm (to the base of the reel seat) to 22cm.  To lengthen it, do it in reverse order.  Different people will find different uses for this but for me - when I'm using knife jigs my jigging action tends to be a bit more rigorous and I like a longer rod butt that slots in under my arm, when I'm using jigs with more action I tend to hold the rod away from me and fish with a bit more 'feel' and a longer rod butt can get in the way.

Recommended retail prices are between $200-$210, if you want any more info flick me a PM or email.
