Simrad evo 3 vs lowrance live

Hey guys. Looking to choose between a lowrance live 12, or a Simrad ns evo 3. Seem to offer similar fundtions, and both seem to have good screens. Anyone out there using either of these? Would be keen to hear about your experiences.

As they both come from the same parent company I presume they are very similr.
I have a HDS7 Gen 1 networked to a NS9 evo 2, with full functionality.
I have it on very loose info that the evo4's will be released in the first 1/2 of this year. that may cause a price drop for LIVES and evo3's....

i would love to wait to see if the evo 4 is realeased soon, but engine etc getting fitted this week, so kinda need to go with whats available now. i liked the menu setup etc of the live, so given rest of functions all seem pretty similar, think this will be the way i go.
