Sneak peek @ the Banax Kingpin 5000
Banax have around 10 new models of reels coming out this season. Here's one you might be interested in.
The Kingpin has been designed by GLADIATOR for Australian condition with the help of input from tackle stores all over Aus. The reel has the banax HCS (hard core system) that makes these reels so tough. The HCS is the trilogy of precision machine cut brass gears, brass pinion and stainless steel shaft. The drag system is 6 part, incorporating 3 carbontex and 3 alloy washers giving 14kg of drag. There are 6 high grade stainless steel shielded German bearings, titanium spool lip. Full power metal body, rotor and spool to keep all internals straight when under load reducing wear on parts. The drag is water resistant and the reel carries a 5 year warranty on ALL parts. The reels are made in the Banax factory in Korea.
The reels will be realeased in September.
If you need any more info drop me a PM.

They look the goods Steve
Do they come with the "bling" reel handle knobs - as in the picture above.
I can see they would be a very popular reel if the price is right and they are not too heavy.

We have just about finalised the cosmetics and yes it will have the blue alloy handle you can see in the photo. The actual reel will be all black with the blue handle and blue titanium spool lip. I saw our hand made sample at the Banax factory three weeks ago and it looks the goods. The best thing about it is it will perform as good as it looks.
