Carlton v North, north to keep their winning form against the under achievers
Saints v Freo, do I need to give my tip?
GWS v Geelong, the Giants will take it up to geelong, for a while but the cats to win.
Port v Melbourne, four weeks ago this would have been a no brainer.... um, port without confidence.
Bulldogs v essendon, the bombers have a sniff of finals and the teams around them are trying hard for an early season finish. Essendon but not by much.

Eagles will take two weeks to decide who to play in the ruck so their bye has come at a good time. And none of them can bare the thought that freo are top two and building nicely.
Mora was strong. 15 possessions with 3 goal assists in a quarter and a half. I reckon sylvia and clancee are looking down the barrel at a stint in the wafl.

I'll take the bait
Agree with ya picks for this half of the split round. The bye comes very handy for a few clubs which need to sort out some injuries and lack of form. Freo will only keep second spot while they keep winning as the top 4 spots are not a certainty yet, better not get complacent. North, Essendon, Port and Adelaide all in the mix to grab a middle spot in the 8 (4th-6th) edging out the Pies and or Geelong. Hope Simpson keeps blooding new/second string players for the rest of the year. Cann't see Coxy going around again next year if Lychet and Sinclair keep improving. A disappointing season if they loose to many more. Even though Ballantine is playing some good footy the shit that he does to get himself suspended can't keep going on, he'll end up missing out on a GF appearance. Still pick Sydney and Hawthorn as the teams to beat.

Freo by millions. Saints can't even score.
Geelong should win. Bigger, harder and more experienced.
Despite their issues, Port to win. Melbourne aren't exactly push overs but they just cannot kick any sort of score this year.
Essendon, because they are pushing for finals but it wont be easy against the Bullies, who seem to be tracking in the right direction.
Then the following week, Hawthorn to steamroll the COLA Swans...hopefully...just got to assassinate Kennedy and Co first..

But, Wet Toast have painted themselves into a corner with their ruckman, who to play, now Lycett says not until the end of the season before he will sign anything, my money is on him going back to SA. But for the here and now, I'd be playing Lycett and Sinclair together for the remainder of the season, put Coxy out to pasture, say thanks mate, your a club legend and offer him the ruck coach job, put Nic Not back in the 2's, because lets face it, he's a nothing, over rated yes, but still a nothing and keeping these other 2 guys out of the side.
