stainless jetski fishing / esky racks

i was wandering if anyone has had any luck buying fishing racks from www.mmstainless.com.au or moreton marine stainless in qld. i purchased one from them over a month ago when i first bought my jetski. they were great when i was getting info and asking for a quote but after that it all changed.

i transfered the money and rang the following morning to advise them of the transfer. he said nothing had gone in. i waited two days and rang back where they still said there was nothing. i checked the transfer and it definately had gone through so i tried to ring again but they wouldnt answer. the following week i finally got through where they rechecked their accounts and and said the money had gone through on the original date but they didnt see the log saying who the money was for or was from. from there they said they would start. about two weeks later i rang to see how it was all going. they said it had been completed will be shipped on monday the 17th august.

i rang them this morning where he told me that it did leave then and that it would take a while to get here. i said surely not more than 8 days. he said he would look into the paperwork and get back to me in half hour. 2 hours go by and nothing. i rang back and he said he was busy and that he would call back in a few minutes. again a few hours go by so i rong back again with the same issue. finally i got through and he gave me the con note number. upon checking the con note number with the freight company it turns out the package was only picked up this afternoon from there shop in qld.

after this i did try ringing but he was screening my calls. it seems now that something has been sent to me even though the original item should have been here a good fortnight ago. if you are looking for jetski racks maybe look at other options unless you sure they can supply without issue. the whole time i got nothing but a "dont give a fuck" attitude. it may not be alot to him ($1400) but it is to an end user. and to be lied to the whole way through isnt acceptable. i have no issue if he said sorry it didnt leave last week and that it be leaving today, etc. but for him to give me a con note number still leading me on that it left on the 17th and not give a shit to say otherwise. i can say i will no longer recommend them to anyone and advise any future buyer to look at alternatives first.

i hope for his sake that it arrives made perfect with all the issues ive had with this idiot. if not ill be making it a legal issue for this fool as he hasnt done anything in a reasonable fashion so far.

now to wait another week or two for it to arrive hopefully and write off the over a month worth of payments ive made on this ski and not be able to fish from it.

good luck in future peoples and research people you buy from even if its a so called reputable shop. i know i will....

Hi Jetski Jon, sorry to hear your dramas, was amusing a few years ago when I came to Aus promoting my rack I produce, MMS within 3 months was next producing a rack at one of the shops I introduced to the concept ;-) Since then MMS has leveraged very well of what I market and I sit in disgust about the price he is charging consumers. If things dont work out, take advantage of my service and pricing, I ship the Ultimate Rod Holder to Aus on 7-10 shipping cost $750NZ and only $90 NZ shippinf works out very good with your exchange rate.

Cheers Andrew Hill www.jetskifishing.co.nz

if he is screening your calls, dial 1831 before the number and it shows as a private one.
Ive found more than a couple of Ebay mobs including Huntsman123 trailer parts do similar with shipping.

You order something on a weekend and get a "sent" message on a sunday, or later when you get the tracking # see the same as you.
My trailer bits, I waited 3 weeks then called to chase it up and got "we are still waiting for the... parts".
Well why did you email me to say it was sent?
Many sellers are happy for Auspost or Courier to take the flack for a late delivery.

 I couldn't justify the cost

Fri, 2015-08-28 16:26

I couldn't justify the cost of the stainless rack system($1400)it is lot of money to me.

I've rigged up some of my old kayak gear and added a small esky to the rear of the Ski.

I find the open weave baskets on the side of the esky work really well, especially when squidding. I even have a stubbie holder! And a pair of thongs......

lol -I do take lunch and cold drink out with me!  As I'm usually out for a few hours searching for the fish.

What I have done recently that is working well- is the "Golf Buggy" Storage Holder.  Found it on a  Curbside Junk Collection, and thought that might work on the back of the Ski.

Keeps all my Lures/Squid Jigs in a easy to get place and dry. Even my glasses if I have to re-rig after a bust off.
