Stop the paddle crab

I caught three paddle crabs while chasing blues around fresh water bay keep an eye out for these pests!

But i'm calling that for a four lobed swimming crab (Thalamita sima)

Yeah mate sent some photos to the fisheries it's a shame but I think the numbers are increasing something needs to happen to protect the crustacean mob!

Lets all hope that it is a 4 Lobed Swimming Crab and not the mongrel illegal imigrant.
And Nippet, congratulations for reporting it to fisheries. I just hope that all crabbers and fishers are like yourself and do the right thing.

where did you find them in fresh water bay, in the shallows or out deep?

I hope all those that see this post see how easy it is to do the right thing. If any doubt exists about what you have caught take a couple of photos and send them to Fisheries together with the exact (or as near as) location, we most definitely don't want these thing's getting established.
