Sugarloaf getting a massive belting!!!!
Well headed down to dunno and yallingup for changes to get some shots around the area. Wanted so great stormy shots at sugarloaf.
I arrvived there around 7am and in all my life i have never seen the ocean so rough!!!!! Massive rolling waves and waves acually bracking over the top of sugarloaf.
I found it so hard to get a shot because of how hard the wind was and all the spray from the waves not to mention the rain. Salvaged these two shots. So spewin i didnt get any long exposure shots. Oh well next time....

Marc you should of got
Marc you should of got yourslef around to Pt Picquet, some awesome pics to be had of the surf & scenery but you would of had to have muscled Christian Fletcher out the way. Got some good stormy fron pics up at Other Side of the Moon that I will have to chuck up, certainly not in your calibre however

You can run but you cant hide
Happy birthday Marc for yesterday (dobbed in from steep point site haha)
Nice pics --- one of my very first holiday spots (canal rocks) about 1957, dirt road in, Dad and Mum set up camp up on the hill coming in to canal rocks. The old man and some people with a farm near there used to go in there on horse back( no roads pre ww2)
I remember one story of a, what he called a King crayfish(markings like crowns on its head) a diver pulled up that didnt fit in an old sugar bag
Have a good one Marc
cheers

Good old winter
and too think that's not even rough. Today was only a 4.5m swell, Sundays forecast looks more like 7m+. Now that's big!
Marc, did you see any actually whitewall over the walkway at Canals? Alot of water moves through there.
