Swan River Flathead

Had a good time this week picking a a few nice sized Flathead along the river. Most of the time I usually spook the real big ones as I'm wading along in the shallows
but yesterday I picked up my second PB Flatty at 57cm. Best was 61cm couple of years ago. Must have been really hungry.. check out the mouth on it!
As always they are all realeased to make more Flatties

I would have had a hard time releasing that as the are such a good feed.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !

Well done. Awesome flattie. Looking forward to spending sometime on the river flats. Should be firing today after yesterdays heat.
