Sort of
Sort of there is a catch and release section this is where you keep the fish you've caught alive then when you get to the weigh in you go to weigh it in once thats done you the release back into the river. But most people choose to just kill the fish and weigh it in when they probably won't win anything so i just release anything that is just size.

There is to many bream for the system to hold. These bream will stay small unless quite a few die out so there is a larger food source to make the others grow bigger. Unfortunate. The same thing has happened in the Margaret River.

There is always snapper around in the Swan, my mate got a 34cm one the other week off my boat with me. all on lures when breaming.
I beleive the swan used to be commercial fished for Snapper?
Always some good flatties around. We got a 53, 52, 49, 45, 45 and a heap of other in 5 hours earlier in the year.
