Sorry but politics nowadays just bores me to death, I feel long since beaten up by all parties by the fiasco that has been 

 Canberra politics in the last 20 years .

 Were do  you start? , the Rudd Gillard years , the Abbott slightly awkward years ( like watching a drunk uncle dance at a wedding) 

 turnballs Ned Flanders type vanilla  banailty , and probally lots I have forgot .

 I liked the cut and thrust of the hawke and Keating years peppered with real inteligence and fun, I even vaguely remember the power and 

 giant social  decisions and uphevals of the Whitlam and Fraser years, even If some of them wornt the best Prime Ministers , you could at least 

 remain engaged ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, now ,,,,,,,,,,, pppffft.

 line all pollies up and shoot the lot of them. none of them are any good , full of lies and fake promises. we need to start all over again with people that have a sence of reality and know how the average person lives and survives on basic wages , not the 6 figure numbers they get. just my opinion anyway

 It is pretty bad, theres no doubt about that.
But even more so now than ever before, if you dont watch, act, vote and speak out you WILL get the governance you deserve.

And by not having your say "because they dont listen", your creating whats called a self fulfilling prophecy.

 Looks like it’s gonna be Dutton v Morrison v Bishop.

I think it is a very sad day for Australia when this once great country changes it's PM every 12 - 18 months or so when the biggest danger to a PM is not from terrorists or fruit loops but from ego driven people with in his own political party.

When people who only gain 19 votes can sit in the parliament and dictate what is going to be implemented on the people of Australia and change the life style and standing of so many good people it is IMO a tragedy.

God only knows just where this country is going to be in a few short years and I truly fear for the future my grand kids and their kids are headed for.

 I think we need to abolish the party system and elect a parliament of individuals. I think Malcom would have been a good PM if it were not for the god bothering right wing factions in the Liberal party making his job much harder than it should be.

 Why is there the option for parties to change the leader when he/she is the prime minister which was voted in by the Australian people? If the party no longer believes that this person is no longer fit/capable of leading their party or govern Australia properly than the people of Australia must be given the chance to vote in a new federal election. It shits me that these individuals constantly stab each other in the back so they all can have a shot at the "title". As said above these pollies need to focus on run this country for the benefit of all it's citizens, put Australia first.

 Could be worse. We have the cry baby Anne Aly as our local MP. Lives in my suburb and was 25 mins late for our primary school ANZAC Dawn Service and the whole thing was held up to wait for her and done in daylight.

From what I saw of a late edition of the ABC news there could be a bit of a surprise for Dutton tomorrow if there is ballot for the PMs job.
Like is Dutton eligible to be in the parliament because of section 44 of the constitution (payments from the commonwealth) has he got the required numbers signed up on his partition and what if Turnbull calls a general election or he chucks in his position or losses it and a by election is required for his seat and is won by the opposition or a minor party and the government losses its majority.

As it is said, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

he has bought time this last 24 hours … pretty sure all the aprty bean counters will be looking at who is most prefered voter wise and that is Julie bishop ,,, she has joined the potential line up if the meeting gets the nod …

that has to impact on duttons numbers , when the counters look at the next election and its winnability …

cant see Dutton getting up unless one of the others does not run … the numbers will be split, and they will selfishly , look to see who will win it at the top for them .. who can defeat shorten etc

Just call an election so the voting public can get on with living. Both parties are as bad as each other and unfortunately they get to choose the candidates through their selection process(not always the best person for the purpose). Over the lot of them.

When The House of Reps was abandoned by the Libs yesterday (first time ever for this instance) they showed the electorate what they think.......We don't have to do our job because the opposition may give us a hard time.

There are more important thingsin life than yourself you imbecilic ponces, matters such as indigenous health, aged welfare, drought stricken cockies et al, but no, you chose not to do your job! You were elected to represent the constituents of the nation.......you chose to abandon the House and avoid your duties and obligations.

Pathetic and simply a disgrace.

None deserve to be re-elected nor should have been in the first place.

 What did we do to deserve this current lot from all partys.just a joke.

 Question / Observatrion:

As they chose to stop working and effectively went out on strike to solve their own self serving purposes perhaps they should also forfeit their pay for the period of time.

Workers acting the same way as they did would sufer the consequences of their actions.

 I see the man they picked in Morrison is an evangelical Christian. Really don’t need that leading the country.
