User Profiles
Hey All.
Was looking at some of the profiles of those who are online and noticed that there are many members who havent filled out any details in their profile at all.
While I understand not everyone wants to advertise all the gear you may have or exactly where you are located, some info in your profile would be good for others to see for various reasons.
It is a helpfull thing for others to access when your asking a question as they can check to see if you are located SOR, NOR, Country, boat or shore based and alter their answer accordingly. Its also a good way for other forum members to get to know more about you rather than just as a name on a website.
If everyone could take the time to enter a few details into their profile or to review it and update as you see fit it would be greatly appreciated by all.
Thanks.

Sorry Tim I never noticed the profile section. My missus always complains that I never read instructions. Regards Colin Hay

Reading Instructions
RTFM is what I always say to lazy workers who ask for help before thinking. It seems Colin from your avatar that your missus may have a point mate.. LOL

Updated
Just updated mine. No need for personal information such as address or bank account details, just something about yourself or your fishing. It is a great little extra to have and as Ryan has said, might get you that little bit of extra information once someone knows you are genuine.

Revived
As weve had a heap of new members since this was posted I thought I would revive it.
In your profile there are some areas that allow you to put in some general information about yourselves. It is this sort of information that people may use when replying to any questions you ask to try and make the answer more specific to your needs.
Always good to know a little more about the other members on the site as well.

Bump
Thought I'd bump this thread with all the new sign-ups weve had lately.
Updating your profile pages will help when people are answering questions you may have.

There's lots of new users online lately so can you please fill in your user details and put in an avatar. It makes it a lot easier to recognise people and you are a lot more likely to get a detailed response to your questions. If you need any help doing so, just ask and I'll help out.
Cheers,
Adam

There are two types of people ,do'ers and watchers
Right now the do'ers are the doing it
And the watchers are watching us do it
