Shame there wasn't more Ford
Shame there wasn't more Ford teams in it, only 2 in the top 10 today. Not very good for ford fans this year since FPV only looked after their own crew this year, left Jim Beam Racing, DJR, Triple F and a couple of others fending for themselves, that's why Lowndes and Whincap left and went over to red.

Its not like it used to be
Bring back the good old days of Group C. The public want to see homologation specials hitting the streets again. Race of Sunday & Sell on Monday. The public used to be able to go in a buy such Bathurst Specials as GTHO'S & GTR XU-1, A9X etc etc.
Also I liked to see the entrant lists each year of Group C to see the privateers taking on the factory teams. Remember the Captain Peter Jansen and all the others. It made the race more interesting.
Also who will forget 1979. Peter Brock, Pole Position, lead every lap of the race, won by 6 laps and set the fastest lap time on the final lap!! That will never happen again ever.

I think you all forgot lowndes started out in holden and had to swap to ford to give them some chance, then they dropped the whole vodafone team so they returned back to holden lol
