Hi
Can anyone let me know about Wappett Creel Learmonth/Exmouth
Travelling to Exmouth at Start of May
Bringing up my new Fishing Kayak
Was hoping to maybe get into some creeks in the area.
Have read some info about Wappett creek,is it poss to drive to creek in 2WD
I have a Hilux workmate with kayak on top
is the road in boggy?
is it ok to drive in there ? would dearly love to give it a go
also if any locals read this could they point me in general diection of any other creeks?
Will also be trying around the Marina area also down west side inside the lagoon
if wind allows that is
Have been up twice befor did good off the beaches and oyster stacks so am going to try something
else.
if anyone can help be much appreciated

Wapet
Can drive to Wapet no probs with 2wd, nice gravel road in. Dont bother venturing around it in a 2wd, just go to the main carpark and go from there.
The only other close is bay of rest, but best with 4wd as track does get soft with traffic.
Marina is always a good bet, youd be surprised at the quality catches ive heard of in there over the years.
Oyster stacks is a sanctuary as a fyi.
