What are the odds ?
Took my fairly new Jack Russell for a walk this evening, at the end of the circuit just in the bush some kids have made a little cubby house type thing,,cool i thought Tom Sawyer type stuff,,got home a couple minutes later turned on the T.V its the lead story on Channel 7 news complete with cubby house footage,
( turns out a 10 year old girl was indecently assautled on Saturday there)
Which brought a couple questions to mind,,why did not they tell folks earlier ??? (i saw 5 young girls on the bushtrack today, but were together ) and they should have got the dog squad in earlier and tracked him maybe ?
Anyway it was just a suprise to see it on T.V just after i walked past,,my sister says she is suprised it does not happen more often,,i agree ,,
The police are making a composite photo of the bloke hopefully they catch him quick smart,,

I'm actualy in homestead ridge but not far away, my daughters a bit paranoid at the moment she's on her own with her toddler, she said someone followed her all the way home from the shops on saturday right to her garage...she's reporing it to the cops tomorrow they had dropped cards in the letter box's around there.

she's pretty tough she could beat me up! she has a dog that dosent like strangers and once shes spoke to the cops she'll feel better and her house has a security system.

Yeah Wazzbat, a real worry for folks that have young children,,
When i was little we would run around the block playing chasy or out all weekend swimming,fishing and what not,,there never seemed to be the level of concern that there is these days,,

I just said exactly that
to my other daughter...it didnt even get a mention 30 40 years ago, it just wasnt a concern, it seems these days parents almost have to go playing out with the kids

It seems to be happening everywhere too. I'm even worried about sending my eldest boy off to school next year! Makes me so angry. And the justice system (or lack of) doesn't do much to help the cause!

And the father in this case was less than fifty meters away at his home opposite the bush, saw the bloke running away so went to investigate,,
Seeing there was a group of kids he might have felt she was alright there (but the guy sent the others away to get more materials for the cubby house )
