What can be advertised on Fishwrecked?

Hi guys and Adam

I was wondering what items can be advertised for sale on here. I don't want to use this site as a 'gumtree' or 'quokka' but i have a few good deals that i would like to offer members first.

Is it strictly fishing related goods?

Thought I'd better ask first!

Cheers

Ben

 Obviously being a fishing

Obviously being a fishing site, people mostly advertise Fishing, Diving, Boating, Camping/outdoors gear, as that's what most of us are into. Plenty of people often post other stuff too, and i'm sure there won't be any issues as long as it's not a commercial sale, and you try and consolidate it all into one thread.

FW Sponsors

Hi Swan Fisher, if you want to advertise any commercial product you need to become a FW Sponsor by contacting Adam Gallash via PM. He will give you the run down on what it costs and what is and isn't acceptable.

Otherwise if you are simply selling personal items as per the for sale forum, then it should be fishing related and definaitly nothing of a commercial nature.

I don't see anything anywhere that says items must be fishing related.

Probably doesn't

But that was the original concept for the sale forum. Its a guideline but we certainly don't want to see it turned into a Gumtree type forum is all I am saying.

Probably best on Gumtree anyway

If it's not fishing related the chances of making a sale would be better on Gumtree anyway I recon.
