i think a bimini to albright but have heard it depends on the strenth of the line. I know using mono the best knot generally depends on how heavy the line is, may well be the same with braid to mono connections
Strongest? PR knot. Good luck with that that though, because its a bitch to tie and you need a bobbin.
The best question is what's a good strong knot to tie that works well with braid weight x and mono weight y.
The best knot is the knot you can tie competantly. I use GT to Bimni in just about everything, although I do use a slim beauty in lighter lines on occasions (6-10lb).
I use gt knots for pretty much everything. Once you have the bimini, they arent that hard. If you use a leader same breaking strain as your line and tie a reasonable knot (e.g. 80%, like a uni knot) when you snag up you'll still get your leader back. Then uni knot and you're ready to go.
GT knot is good, but these days i been using the FG knot for most of my fishing down to 30lb, Casts awesome, and is strong, An advantage over the GT knot is not having to tie a Bimini.

Search has a lot of useful info in it as well!

What Knot
PR knot is the best I have found, strongest and thinnest. No noise at all through the guides. Not a bitch to tie, just time consuming.
My bobbin cost me 10 bucks from Bluewater Mindarie and it takes me 6 minutes to tie but worth it.

The other advantage to the FG is you need no tools, it looks good. I've tried it a couple times but wouldn't mind seeing it done by a pro!

I tie a PR knot on a lot of my jigging & popping outfits. Even use the PR knot on my PE2 jigging gear.
And use the GT knot on light stuff (<20lb).
