What should we expect with the next vehicle service

When I put my previously owned vehicle in for a service it used to come back smelling sweet as.  The interior had been detailed, fresh wipes left, plus a small serve of peppermint sweets, plastic rubbish bags hung over the glove box latch, etc.  More recent vehicle from different dealer (still Toyota) comes back as it went in.  What service do you get, or expect?

Funny you say that...

It's a bit of a mystery bag as to what's been done to my car and what they have left in it. Sometimes I get all the goodies, sometimes I don't. There doesn't really seem to have any pattern to it!!  I don't care really, as long as it runs well!!

Last time we took ours to a dealer for a service, it came back minus a TomTom GPS, a Leatherman Juice & a jar of lollies.

No mate, they weren't interested. Reported it to the police but they did nothing.

when taking car to service always clock down your odometer, there are some dodgy mechanics out there that use your car to drive around to run their errands.

They usually wash our Corolla when it gets serviced by the Toyota people down here. The people who do my Subaru come to me, but it doesn't worry me that I get no extras as the guy who services the car is probably the best Subaru mechanic in Oz. He used to work for the Subaru World Rally Team and still races his REX here in WA Rally club.

Cheers

A Sticker

It's a good time for service people to advertise. All I seem to get is a bill with a list of other things that they deem important if the vehicle is to get me to the NEXT service.
