Wheel bearing grease

What is the best grease to put into bearing buddies?  Is there specific grease for the job or any old?

there is so many types out there, i would just go to a reputable marine shop and ask for a decent one as there is some that are not so good but most are ok as you top up the greese all the time anyway

Well if you go to the shop

Well if you go to the shop and see a few to choose from just remember black is for normal cars and normal use, green is for performance and 4x4's. I work a C.V. joint place and that's pretty my how we determine which grease for which car.

use more than inox

especially for the bearings as there is so much heat conducted when moving.

Yamaha do a marine grease that is dark blue in colour and is what i use on my bearings and for all lube in and around my outboard.

real sticky shit..

as long as its high temp and marine grade, I'm guessing they would all be much of a muchness?

Seals

If your wheel bearing seals are ok there shouldn't be any water getting in,so why pay extra for marine grease.Any good multi purpose grease will do for wheel bearings
