Where to get a rod built?

Would like to get a nice spin stick made up for a mate's 40th. Anybody know of a quality rod builder, prefably in the northern suburbs?

Not sure if Rohan at Bluewater Melville is still building rods. I`ve had a couple made by him and was very happy with the result. On a side note, does anyone know if Jenny from the old "rodwise" is still dabbling in rod making, her thread work was second to none

north or south of the river mate?

If south, give this number a call and check out his work. 0415252202. Dave.

Ive found him easy to deal with and cheap.
