Hey, caught a small wobby yeasterday and heard they were ok eating so kept, bled and cleaned it. Are there any particular recipes that work well for them?
Im assuming most people remove the skin?
Thanks

Yea remove skin and all red
Yea remove skin and all red flesh. I like it cut into 1" x 2" chunks then deep fried in a very runny light tempura beer batter with a little garlic salt and chicken salt mixed In the batter. Once cooked airless squeeze of lemon

Freeze it
Like with all shark, it pays to freeze it before you eat it.

wobbi
wobbi is great eating. the longer u leave it in the freeze the better it will be. I usually keep it in the freeze til I run out of dhuie in the middle of winter and I cant get out in the boat. its really good with beer batter it holds together and firm. if I didn't catch it or cook it I might of been eating kgw
