Work WANTED

G'day all

I've got a mates son who has rolled into town and is after some casual work for a few months.  He is 18 and a smart lad.  He has finished Yr12 and is travelling around Oz for a year with a few mates and is off to uni next year.

He has registered with agencies and dropped off resumes to various places already.

His experience - waitering, shop fit outs, landscaping.  Basically, he is willing to do any work and has his own car for getting about.

His plan is to save enough $$'s in order to then travel up to Darwin.

Any help would be appreciated.  PM me if you can help.

Cheers Pete

I'll go easy

I'll try not to hit him with to much military discipline on his first day, he mightn't come back....

Half the prawns are gone already, as discussed we'll get together for a prawn cook-up soon. Have to support the broken members of the website....

Good worker

I had the young bloke around at my house for five hours today and he did himself proud. A nice young guy and a hard and professional worker. Line him up with your odd jobs lads. Not on Monday though as he is coming back to my house for more work.

Work wanted update

Fri, 2009-06-12 22:11

It's been a full week now and I didn't just take on one of the guys, I took on two. Mainly because they both turned up for an interview and i had a spot for both. These guys have given everything and I think enjoyed the whole week. They will be welcome with me as long as they are here and I have the work for them.

Good for you guys. I will have to admit that there may be some Victorians who can get on here.. LOL

Many thanks Vince for your help.

It is good to have some good young lads tackle some work and then enjoy the benefits of travelling OZ.

I'll have this arm sorted soon and then get them out to catch a real fish aswell.

Cheers Pete
