If you get a chance send the frame to fisheries.It would be interesting knowing how old they get.They dont get much bigger or smarter than that one.Was it a hard shot or did he swim straight up to you?
i could see him from like 20 meaters away so i slowly decended in his direction and as he went to bolt i aimed at the back of his head and shot which automaticly stoned him kill shot to easy
then i got home and weighed him on some official scales wich have been tested and it whent 8.400kg
i was wraped it is a new jr state record for spearfishing but i held the last record for it anyways so a little bit of an up grade for me
it is the new club record aswell beating barry paxman by 1.3kg but greg pikering has the state record at an impressive 9.100kg
but the funny thing is my fish is 6 cm longer than his was
yep i have dive side by side with him a few times he is a bloody unreal diver he knows were every fish is
i am only 15 so to watch him dive has helped me heaps
when i first dived with him i was only freediving about 16 meaters but after watching and listening to him and a few of the other guys
i have been able to reach 27 meaters
i can do 25 meaters and come up with fish theese guys are unreal dives but they have all had to start some were it all depends on were u go and who u go with
i just seem to smim strait into fish were ever i go and dive but thats easy to do being able to stay relaxed to hold your breath while u have big fish around u is the hardest thing when you start off but once u start capturing big fish all the time u over come that momentum of having your heart rate pick up
Great looking fish mate! This is the only metro fish that I haven't caught yet and I have been fishing all over out back of GI! Nice to know that there are still some horses in shallow water out there!

edge is the most common in freediving in w.a aswell as the rob allens but edge ar the go atm more heavy duty and durable for australia
