Just an email from a mate this morning. They catch huge tuna up Canada way ....but by the look of the clothing i'd say more warmer climates. Maybe South Africa. Boat looks very americanish!!!

...biggest YFT's in the world, if it IS a YFT. Normally they have very long, sickle-like 2nd dorsal and anal fins so looks more like a bluefin, or perhaps a bigeye, to me.
Could also be Hawaii...you don't have to travel very far at all to get fish like that there, so no probs for smaller boats.
I wonder if we are going to get repeats on this snap like the huge barra caught on the Fitzroy.
Bet the angler's arms take at least 2 days to shrink back to their original size

I reckon a Yellowfin Tuna and caught in South Africa. I have heard that they are having a great season.
God I'd be happy to those size 'Fin back in perth waters.

Yellofin usually have longer
Yellofin usually have longer pectoral fins and dorsal fins, I think it is a bluefin. Max
