4 stud 13" galvanised rims
Submitted by Adz87 on Fri, 2018-10-12 10:53Hi all,
I recently had a flat on my boat trailer only to notice it is a 4 stud 100mm pattern. Looking to upgrade to galvanised rims while I am at it, but really struggling to find a place in Australia that sells them. Does anyone know where I can get a set? Or am I best off changing to a 5 stud hubs?

Mandurah harley plus some
Submitted by Faulkner Family on Sun, 2018-10-07 14:51With only this weekend for a chance for so.e big stuff we headed out to a spot we havnt fished for a couple of months. Set the drift and had some interest on my line shortly after . Managed to hook up but the fight was a bit different to what ive had before and with a bit of a fight up came my first ever harley and a decent size too. Shortly after sandy nailed a sized dhuie . Went over to a new drift line to avoid cray pots and i managed to get a dhuie at 630 . With not much else on the chew other than some undersize stuff we moved into our kg spot . First drift Sandy nailed 3 nice kgs and me 1. Reset but this time the wind had changed . Both sandy and i got busted off by something and Sandy losing a monster kg just short of the boat and then nailing another a bit smaller. Went back to reset and shortly after with a great fight up came a nice black ass.
Ended up with our bag of demersal and 6 nice kgs so we were happy . Great feed and a first we certainly cant complain.

Morse Cables
Submitted by Swompa on Thu, 2018-10-04 08:19Morning Team,
I need to replace the Morse Cables (throttle and gear selection cables) for my Etec as with my new cable run, the existing ones are around 300mm short.
My existing cables were Teleflex CC20515 9069 and were ~15.5 feet (4.75m) and I need a 17ft replacement
I am unable to find anything with 9069 (and struggle to find anything Teleflex in Australia) so I am hoping someone with some knowledge can let me know what the last numbers mean?

Another dinghy adrift
Submitted by carnarvonite on Wed, 2018-10-03 07:34Heard a radio call from Steep Point ranger this morning that a 4.2 metre dinghy is adrift somewhere around there joining another that went missing complete with fishing gear from the bay in front of Dirk Hartog homestead.
Don't people know how to tie a boat up or is it the gear they are using isn't up to what is needed

Afl trade
Submitted by timboon on Wed, 2018-10-03 06:23I'm hoping to releif some of the scrotum pressure from the "grandy" forum.
So where to start, foolish freo?
Why oh why would they allow Neale to go?
Hogan he's good but not that good.
Lobb to Eagles is an interesting move, i guess to replace Jk. Tim Kelly, they wouldnt want to pay too much for the first year player.
Gaff to Nth, that will be announced post the BF night.
Hawthorn - The Jugganaught just keeps on going forward, Scrimshaw, Shiel Amon and potentially Wingard. Just wow.
The Tigers are going to be too top heavy with TLynch coming in.

Search in Progress Off Tamala / Cararang
Submitted by carnarvonite on Thu, 2018-09-27 19:04An air and sea search is on off Tamala station for 2 people in an overdue dinghy, went out at 10 and haven't returned.
No safety gear at all, no anchor, no registration and no information given to where they will be fishing.
The weather isn't helping as been blowing 20 knots from s to sw all day.
Plane has just returned to Shark Bay airport after doing a search of nearby islands and over the Three Islands area. Rescue 4 from Shark Bay is continuing the search into the night

Removal of cables from E-Tec. Help
Submitted by Swompa on Tue, 2018-09-25 14:18Howdy Team,
As some of you may be aware, I have gutted and am rebuilding my Pacemaker (Pacemaker rebuild formally Foam Bilges. Pic heavy) and need to remove both the morse cables (gear and throttle) from my motor (as I need to replace them), and the power cables from my control box on the console (to run it all under the deck).
Not knowing enough about it, I don't want to stuff it up and am chasing the services of someone who has an idea of what they are doing.
Looking it, I hope it wont take too long though I lack the confidence to wing it.
If it is something someone can easily explain to me, I will give it a crack (if it is idiot proof) though if anyone is in the Thornlie (Canning Vale side) and knows what they are doing, I will pay for your time.
The motor is a 2010 Etec 75hp

Coral Bay Report 12th - 18th Sept
Submitted by Iceman on Tue, 2018-09-25 11:34Just got back from a week in Coral Bay and a few days at Horrocks.
First couple of nights we fished the north side of the reef south of Mauds landing. Fished on the north side of the reef just outside the Sanctuary Zone. First night got a couple of tailor. Second night was very calm and did not expect much but ended with 11 Tailor in a mad 45 minute session between 2 of us with many more lost. Biggest was 60cm.
Finally got out with Bernie on Mahi Mahi Charters on the saturday for half day charter. 2.5 hrs to get out to the fishing grounds but we bagged out in 2 hours. Good variety of fish caught Red Emporer, Saddletail Snapper, Rosy Threadfin Bream and Robinson Sea bream. There were some good size Reds boated. Sharks were an issue towards the end.
I decided to take my own rod & reel (Tynos 30) and although was hard fishing in 120mtrs of water ended up catching 14 fish with a couple of double headers. My mate was using snapper winch and only got 2 . Shared the fish around with a few of those who suffered from sea sickness.
Overall a great day and would recommend Bernie to anyone heading up that way with all fish cleaned and fillited on our return.
I work with Mark Lecras mum and sent her some picks which ended up on Fishwatch last week. Rapt about that.
Stopped at Horrocks beach on the way back and fished Bowes River a couple of nights. Some good size tailor caught and guy fishing next to us got a meter plus mullaway but weed was an issue.

Bar Crusher 535XS
Submitted by coraltrout on Mon, 2018-09-24 10:27Was wondering if anyone here has a Bar Crusher 535XC - it's the centre console model. I am considering purchasing one but want to have a closer look at the boat's set-up, etc and WA dealers do not have one in stock that I can view. If you have one, or know of someone with one and are okay with me taking a closer look, I would appreciate it. I am in Perth but prepared to travel to Mandurah if one is down there. Thanks

The Grandy
Submitted by sea-kem on Sun, 2018-09-23 15:58Well I reckon the Eagles did it easy yesterday a couple of niggles to a couple of the boys but nothing to be concerned about.
My big concern was Lycett in the ruck but he tore Gawn a new one. Our forward line is to be feared with both the talls and shorts firing, Lecca in great form and the back line hardly even working up a sweat and that's saying something considering yesterday's heat.
I'm glad they've got us as the underdogs put more mental pressure on the Pies. Let's hope it's a good game, there's only been one this whole finals series imo. Bring it onnnnnnnn and Goooo Eagles.

Marine Trimmer
Submitted by JW77 on Fri, 2018-09-21 10:12Hi All, I know this has been asked before, however can anyone recommend a good marine trimmer they have used lately? I'm based North of the river so would prefer someone North, however are happy to go South for a good quality job. I'm looking to get my 6m boat recarpeted, new canopy & seats recovered.
Cheers,
JW

How do you upload Photos now
Submitted by crasny1 on Wed, 2018-09-19 08:04With Photobucket charging now, what is the best option to load photo's to the site. Havent posted many but might again with a new camera (not a flash one). Even though they have backtracked on the ridiculous price I still wont use them purely because I don't put many photo's on the web.
Cheers
