Dawesville Electrician (Not Fishing Related)
Submitted by Timmo on Tue, 2016-07-12 15:36Rather see if anyone on here wants a job or knows someone that can help out with some electrical work on my house. If not will hit up the yellow pages.
Whole downstairs floor lights are tripping off and cant flip safety switch back on. Thinking water leaking onto a light downstairs somewhere.
PM if anyone may be able to assist.

wagoe chalets
Submitted by Wilzee on Fri, 2016-07-08 10:56Can anyone tell us about the Wagoe Chalets. We want to head north in August for a week.
I've read varying reports. If it was a blokes trip it wouldn't matter but taking the mrs so can be basic but needs to be clean.

Big John's Jigs - Official
Submitted by big john on Wed, 2016-07-06 11:15Hello Fishwreckers,
Big day for me today, I've finally launched Big John's Jigs as an official business, and with that, my online store.
I'd like to thank all of you who have purchased my jigs on here over the past decade. The feedback has been great and of the best sort, repeat business.
Would love to receive some feedback on the online store, so if you're inclined please have a look at:
Hopefully I can get to the stage where I can put back into this forum as a sponsor.
For those on facebook, I also have a page there:
Tight Lines,
John
Ps. This will be my only 'business' related post as I do not wish to detract from the official site sponsors

Shark Bay Charters - Mac Attack
Submitted by Iceman on Mon, 2016-07-04 13:06After 2 charters cancelled in Coral Bay due to the weather was able to get out for a full days with MAC ATTACK from Denham. Had a great day where we bagged out. The skipper (sorry forgot name) was right on the spots with some good fish landed. Plenty of pinkies landed but only a couple of reds that were undersize. We travelled over 100nm on the day
Only hickup was a whale going under the boat and some of us hooking up.
We went right out past Steep Point which was interesting to see from the sea side. Even had time for troll back up the coast but only landed a couple of Shark Mackerel
Strongly recommend if thinking of a charter in Shark Bay. Max 7 per day.

Rd 15 - some general banter, not just the tippers
Submitted by crasny1 on Thu, 2016-06-30 08:38Hate this Thursday night stuff!!
Think the Eagles way to strong.
Then think Port, Saints, Swans, Carlton, Adelaide.
But Gold coast have some form, Collingwood can surprise, Bulldogs no pushover, and Melbourne at the G ?? Richmond also not clear cut.
So I suspect to get 1 certainty, the rest could go either way, as has been the case all yr.

48 hrs Storage Ideas
Submitted by Stoinka on Wed, 2016-06-29 09:56Just asking all you Perth members if their is anywhere I can leave my car and boat in a secure place in Perth for 48hrs.
I will be on my way up north (Boy's Trip
) but will be staying in the city for my son's birthday before they return home to Bunbury.
I have tried several storage places but they only want to sign you up for a month minimum, which is fair enough!
I you have any useful suggestions, or contacts please fire away.
Thankyou.

Steep point camp fire alternatives
Submitted by dumper on Tue, 2016-06-28 10:10I'm staying at shelter bay later in the year and I was wondering if Paul allows fires in a contained steel fire pit or is it a total fire ban throughout? I've heard he doesn't tolerate any type of fires but surely people have taken webbers and coal beads up there?

A "NO" Vote from me for Labor and the Greens
Submitted by NORUN NOFUN on Sun, 2016-06-26 10:32Quoting Scott Coghlan - todays Sunday Times 26.6.16
" if elected the Labor party and Greens have agreed to immediately implement the ludicrous marine park management plan ".
Big decisions to be made when weighing up who to vote for next week.
Everyone has their own reasons on who they vote for, but I personally can't stand being locked out of more area's to fish.
What's your opinion and who are you voting for ?

BREXIT, maybe a lesson for voters here!
Submitted by Rob H on Sun, 2016-06-26 10:25With the recent surprise outcome of the UK's BREXIT referendum many poms it appears are suddenly realising the enormity of what is going to happen, maybe Boris Johnson more than anyone else as he will likely inherit the poison chalice and if he doesn't take it he is finished.
He looked pretty stunned to say the least...
A petition to redo the referendum gains more than a million signatures within hours with countless "leave" voters now saying they didn't really understand what would happen and didn't expect or actually want to win.
Personally I don't have a lot of interest in BREXIT even though the missus is a Pom.
Similarly here, I'm not even certain what would be a good outcome for our election, but there's little that annoys me more than hearing "I don't bother to vote" or "I don't care who " or "they're all the same so I dont..." and complaining about politics at the same time.
Its called a "donkey vote" for a reason, so at least take an hour to look into who you are voting for, or else you (and the rest of us) will get what we deserve, and it could hurt.
EDIT-My point above is just make sure you know what and who you are voting for, and not at all about who to vote for.
I had never really thought about it before but there is a compelling reason to make voting non-compulsory, to ensure that only those who give a shit have a say.

Gladstone?
Submitted by carnarvonite on Sat, 2016-06-25 13:07Now that I am more or less based at Wooramel, chasing a rough area to fish out of Gladstone.
The only time I have put the boat in there was to tow a dinghy in that had broken down on Christmas day in 2014 and only had to travel about 1nm to do that, so any suggestions are most welcome.
