Submitted by wrassinator on Thu, 2009-01-22 15:09Anyone heard any Cockburn or Warnbro Sound snapper news? Schools still holding? Ban lifted soon, thinking of giving it a nudge but had zero success to date. Any help appreciated to help me land a keeper.

Must See Highlights Reel *** New fishing Video ***
Submitted by Andy Mac on Thu, 2008-12-18 13:43Click on the pic below to view my first attempt at a
Fishwrecked Reeltime
Streaming Video.
The vid should open up in a new window with in your browser.
We suggest those with a slow connection wait a few seconds before playing, to allow the video to buffer. Broadband users should be able to play virtually straight away.
Also, I suggest you put your headphones on and turn up the volume.
More vids and other stuff will be posted shortly. I know I've been slack this past 6 months but its because I've been busy with other things.
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers

Short video of a green cray being caught by James. Unfortunately for him it was full of berries so it was released back under its ledge.
Best watched in high quality.

Spinning "The Caves"
Submitted by WODF on Tue, 2008-11-25 10:12A short(2:39) video of latest trip to "The Caves" WA. Couldn't have commentary due to wind but don't think it makes to much of a difference. Sorry, only few fish filmed. Most of the action occured whilst on my own, being busted off 5-6 times in 10mins and seeing some amazing jump shows! All in all it was a pretty awesome trip.

Watch in high quality!

Video editing software
Submitted by wayneleech on Sun, 2008-10-12 18:20hi all,
Was wondering if anyone knows of a free video editing software program? I just want to do basic editing like reducing the video in size and perhaps cutting some sections out... would also like to merge some video clips if possible?
Just got back from exmouth so I was going to put some of the video together that we have, along with uploading some photos....
cheers

Texas - Hurricane Ike Damage Video
Submitted by DaParson on Wed, 2008-10-01 13:08Hey Guys
I have posted fishing videos with you before - and you are still one of my favorite fishing video sites - but I thought I would share a video with you that isn't fishing - but I do think would be of interest.
I live in an area that is just a few miles from where Hurricane IKE came ashore on the Texas Coast. I stayed during the storm -- even walked around checking for damage during the storm.
The video is posted on my fishing blog: http://www.daparsonfishing.blogspot.com/ - it shows about 150 pictures of the Damage of Hurricane Ike to the area I live in.
We are not able to fish right now because the majority of the boat ramps have been destroyed. However, it won't be long - and I hope to post up new fishing videos that rival the great ones here.
Again - I really do enjoy the site here.
A Texan Ready to fish Soon!

New fishing Video - Wahoo on Fly - Almost
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Thu, 2008-09-25 00:07I jumped in to get some shark footage today out from Tantabiddi when Mr Wahoo decided to come and suss me and the commotion out. Azza had his fly rod ready to go and I called out to him where the fish was, on his second cast he put it in the spot. As he got the strike it rocketed off into the distance not to be seen again. I managed to watch it all but didn't fully capture it on film, but you get the idea. You can also see the speed of the fish as he took the fly, awesome. Just after that a 100lb+ GT came and hit the side of the boat chasing a fish off the bottom, one crazy visual day along with the sailfish first up. I had to compress the video down a lot so the quality's not the best, apologies. :) Also note, thats not the fly rod in the picture below, thats on the shark.

How not to watch Whales - New Video
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Mon, 2008-08-11 15:35Here's a short video from the weekend on how not to watch whales. We were quite a way away and the family decided to swim over and say hi! I was just about to jump in the water and get some underwater footage, luckily my timing was a little out... The footage is a bit average as Brad can't work the focus, also note that this video does include a few swear words, as you will notice!

Commodore Crew Classic Catch***mini video****
Submitted by Andy Mac on Thu, 2008-06-12 20:52
Believe it or not this is the result after Andrew had a massive bite that pulled his rod our of his hands into th edrink seemingly lost forever..... enter our hero.... your's truly.... who quickly gets a bite and dances the fish over to where Andrew was sitting, looking all lost and forlorn without his brand new rod and reel.
Knit one pearl one and hey presto up comes my Pinky with a heap of fresh braid wrapped around the hooks..... he then proceeded to hand line up the catch of the day.
Andrew was amazed.

Apologies for the video quality as the format has been changed a couple of times for editing. Please also note that this video has a language warning, had to be left in there for effect. Enjoy.
