Just a quick report on yesterdays fishing, was pretty slow day, early morning being the best. Sounded over a big school of snapper with only a queenie being caught.
Lots and lots of sargent bakers and small dhuies, next came my little pink, which was good to get since its my first on jig.
Dad got a little sweet lip on bait which was a surprise, not to sure if there that common in metro waters?
jigs that stood out where,
135g yambal cakra
130g Andaman pink glow (new favourite jig!)

Sweetlip
are rare but definatly not unheard of. Been a few on here over the years.
They've even been captured as far south as Hamelin Bay.
