Just heard that there has been a shark attack up at Red Bluff north of Cape Cuvier and that the Flying Doctor is trying to arrange a flight to land either here or at Gnaraloo

Not good
Not good news, hopefully not a fatality.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

Just looked at the WA Today site and it reports get this' a person has been injured by a shark 200km south of Carnarvon near Quobba station'. That Journo obviously failed geography. It goes on to say the person has suffered leg and abdominal injuries.

They go everywhere except
They go everywhere except Arctic and Antarctic waters. Truly a global species. Only predator that has a greater range is the Killer Whale/Orca.
Hope old mate isnt too badly cut up and recovers all good.
It will be intersting to find out the details of the attack, what species is thought?, was he on his own?, was he paddling, riding a wave, sitting on his board? Just it doesnt seem to happen TOO often that a surfer is attacked by a non GW, though it does happen.

Injuries
The bloke was surfing with a mate when attacked, he has shoulder injuries and is probably landing in Jandacot any time soon via RFDS.
A couple of local took pics of a white pointer off Quobba last weekend but that doesn't meen that its the one in the attack.

Report
He is in a stable condition in RPH.
Seems it bit his abdomen and his arm when he tried to fend it off.
They chucked him in a car and headed straight towards town and met up with the ambulance on the way.
