anyone drove white hills lately?

gidday, any one been from w/hills down to preston lately?
might go tomorrow, and cause quads are banned now , will have to stretch the
td42 engine in the gq , just wondering if its any softer than usual .
Went to 2 rocks the other day and the beach there from 2 rocks to loonies was mainly
undrivable to 4wds, you should have seen the size of some of the wheel tracks left behind!
Some crew must have had all sorts of dramas going by the belly out marks 3 foot deep.
Took the quad and yep powered across the lot. Got 4 good sized winter tailor at about 9.30 am
from up near loonies. Lots of weed around in spots , but find a clean green spot , no matter
how small , and you will find some nice tailor 500-600 mm.

Bad time of year to be driving that stretch of beach up there, have snatched out plenty. Even summertime causes plenty of dramas.
Whitehills on the otherhand I haven't been down to for several months but the gq should get through

Check the tides
Pretty high tide in the morning at the moment might have to drop down into waves to get through about 5k's south of white hills entry.

yeah was going after lunch , to let the tide drop and try in the afternoon for some tailor.
besides nissans are made of a rust resistant metal i am led to believe, its the
the crappy, reject stuff goes to the toyota factory!

4.2 diesel
Got a GQ standard 4.2 don't have to much trouble along White Hills, tyres down to 18 odd PSI. Check out a spot about half way along (10km) has a break in the reef a bit stoney on the bottom well worth a try sometimes a bit narrow for parking though. Good Luck was half thinking about heading down saturday arvo.

JEEP has it over all
was up that way 2 days ago with a few mates for a drive, very soft atm seen a few fellaz stuck haha but nothing the...
jeep wrangler turboed with its 4 inch and 37s cant handle!!!

rest my case.............. the jeep needs a turbo, 4 inch lift and 37's to go where a standard patrol will lol
