Submitted by pale ale on Sat, 2014-06-07 16:21
Just returned from our annual trip to the NT's Daly River to fish the Barra Classic.
Here's a few photos if anyone is interested
Biggest fish for the first day of comp put us in first place :)
Caught a couple of these too
Also hooked a 200 pounder
Stopped at the Ord on the way home for a couple more days of fishing. Ord fishing was a lot better than Daly, we caught about 45 barra in 2 days up to 104cm

what line class
what line class does treble in the toe fit into hahah , in saying that a mate years ago pulled a very green GT into my boat at north west reef out from dampier flapped all over the place and I ended with a hook from the gang hooks that was attached to the trevor through my thigh amazing how far human flesh will stretch with 10kg of flapping GT attached to it

The hook was in my toe.
We hit a pile of floating sticks whilst planing. I stepped forward as we dropped off the plane and trod on a luch box full off lures. One owner treble in my toe, which was tangled into about a dozen other lures and all hooked into the boat carpet.
Took a few minutes to remove the lures, then pushed the hook point and barb all the way through to remove the barb. Lucky I have black fella feet and it didn't hurt at all (or was it the beer?)
