Way too much gain and zoomed

Mon, 2016-04-18 16:09

Way too much gain and zoomed in a bit far. In 300m I use to run my 2kw 50hz gain at about 3-4. Definitely a nice edge but I try set my range so you can see the top and bottom of the edge  with out loosing the bottom or shifting up or down to much

Yeah, pretty crap is a bit

Mon, 2016-04-18 16:24

Yeah, pretty crap is a bit harsh.......is "sub optimal" better....haha, just having a laugh.

We were out last week and could hardly paint a bottom in 200m and I would have been very happy with "sub optimal", then went out to 450m and the sounder was working great....go figure.

if you wanna do a comparison of sounder shots for that spot just pm me the gps details and I can let you know what it looks like on my sounder. Hahaha

looks the goods to me and if it produced fish, even better.
