Way too much gain and zoomed in a bit far. In 300m I use to run my 2kw 50hz gain at about 3-4. Definitely a nice edge but I try set my range so you can see the top and bottom of the edge with out loosing the bottom or shifting up or down to much
Yeah, pretty crap is a bit harsh.......is "sub optimal" better....haha, just having a laugh.
We were out last week and could hardly paint a bottom in 200m and I would have been very happy with "sub optimal", then went out to 450m and the sounder was working great....go figure.

pretty crap is a bit harsh the gain was cranked up a bit.
2kw 200 2kw 50 both tranny mounted.
puka pinkies nannies and a couple of queenies on the first
shot.Big dhuies and pinkies on second shot.

still mucking around with different setting.
lot of things to try next time.it is a 80m ledge just about vertical hard for the sounder to keep up with sometimes.
cant complain tho plenty of fish on it .
