easy mate, really easyunscrew
easy mate, really easy
unscrew the threaded bit on the end that has a black rubber seal on it, it screws over the pin
then there is about 4 or five washers that come out, they are anti slip washers from memory
then the gold coloured outer shroud will come off
then you use a small flat blade screw driver to undo the actual retaining screw into the side of the pin (thw one you actually change out)
once you have done that replace the pin and fasten again with the same retaining screw
put the gold shroud back on
put the washers in again in the same order they came out
screw the threaded bit making sure the black ring is on the side closest to the reel body
done!
im sure if you google it there will be a picture, i had mine in the plastic bag that the changeable pin comes in

better stilllearn not to fish
better still
learn not to fish so gimped.
if you're right handed , learn to left hand wind. leaving your strong arm to handle the rod as it should.
once you've got it , you'll never go back. (and you'll wonder what you were playing at)
(ducks and runs for cover)
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

I'm too unco, instead I go to the gym so that my left arm is just as strong, and I taught myself to cast left handed.

Love the left vs right debate
Easy for me, Im left handed, and definately love the rightHW with Left power hand on rod. But thats the way everyone was taught when they were young. I was just lucky I was LHed.

As has been said definitely a simple process. There is a guide on how to do it in the manual that comes with the reel.
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
