Does Luc Longley know more about fish stocks than Fisheries?

Does he know more than all the Fisheries researchers? And Murdoch researchers?
Does he even know more than people on here?
Because he definitively says that our fish stocks in WA are rapidly declining and has gone on the record for Save Our Marine Life.
"We've been lucky,"
"Our fish stocks are tanking, we are catching them faster than they can breed and recover.
"We are fishing ourselves right out of paradise."
Luc says he knows because he's been fishing up and down the coast recently.
Seriously....at least he was once a good basketballer.
Incidentally, I also hear he has a boat with an ecotourism charter licence.

Well if your referring to
me being stuck in the house with this bloody cast on my leg then yeah, but I was more referring to who's actually catching less when there going fishing in a boat. Certainly something i'm not seeing.

yeh thats what i was referring too!
if anything the fish are getting thicker. since they stopped the pros fishing for demersals tightened the limits and put the closed season into place the fish have got alot more plentyfull

I guess if being a "celebrity" means being carried by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen for much of your professional basketball career, then I suppose he's a celebrity. I hope the general public (also known as "voters") can see the vested interest he has (eco-tourism) before jumping to conclusions.
Alfred, he's a large, slow, ex-NBA basketball player from Western Australia who suddenly thinks he knows something about fish stocks.
