electrical issue

I have 3 batteries one of which is brand new. I Had the 2 in the boat charging on the ctek charger with the colhursey to off. Ctek says bateries are fully charged but when starting sounds totally flat 1 or 2 very lazy half cranks then click click. Got the 3rd brand new battery out and hooked it up, same thing. Put all 3 on a different old school charger until all 3 showed fully charged. Hooked them all up again with exactly same result. Seems plenty of power to operate power trim ect. Motor is a 115 merc/ yammy 4 stroke. Any ideas before I pay for a mechanics retirement.

High resistance somewhere seems likely, corrosion in wiring ,dodgy switch?

Agree, bad connection
Check all your connections from the batteries to the isolator and from the isolator to the starter motor. Also have a good look at the earth (negative) to the motor. Clean the connections if you have any corrosion on them. You only need a small amount of corrosion to cause big drop in current flow.

Connections
Agree with Wal. Check the connections to colhersy, batteries and motor. Check the wires to all and see if you can detect corrosion inside protective sheath. usually greenish and if you see it, start to strip back the cover, slowly, until it is not there, then reterminate. If the corrosion is bad then get a new wire.
If electrics look good then pull the plugs and turn it over. That removes the compression and lets you see if you have internal seizing. Bearings, rings etc. It also allows any moisture out of the cylinders so you know there is no overcompression stopping it turning over. If it spins free with no plugs in then put the plugs back in and call a sparky.
Good luck.

I would really focus on earth connections
Had a similar issue with mine and discovered the earth to the colhersey had a loose nut so it presented a poor connection - removed and added a lock washer and cleaned off the corrosion before retightening and absolutely perfect since.

I had a similar issue and it
I had a similar issue and it ended up being worn bushes in the starter motor. So that might be something else to look out for.

sucks
Pretty fussy with the boat and hated knowing it had a problem. Should be thankful it happened at home and not on the water. Will get it sorted.

Hmm - sounds like a burnt out winding on the motor
No fix just replace - hope not for your sake as they aint cheap. By the way a multi meter will show voltage but it needs to be in line to show current (amps)

multi meter current.
A majority of multi meters that have the option to read current will pop the internail fuse if you go much more than 10 amps.. Anything over that its best to get a proper clamp that has the DC abilities.
