Good work...

Thu, 2010-07-15 16:44

...great seeing more and more people getting into the lures. My feeling is that if everyone was throwing bits of rubber, plastic and metal around instead of the standard bait and berley approach, there'd be fewer blowies!

Also well done on seeing that the best way to fish from a bridge when the tide is running is by casting into it and letting it sweep the lure back to the bridge. The bulk of the fish are going to be in amongst the pylons, heads into the current, waiting for goodies to come through with the tide...this applies to bream, herring, skippy, tailor, really everything! Most people like to launch their bait/lures down current so they don't have to constantly keep their gear away from the pylons, but there are no fish where they are fishing!

Top stuff and stick with it...you'll be surprised what might latch on next time!
