Fresh feed of flake

Had the morning off so time to go fishing. Tide wasn't the best but just a chance to wet a line and chill out for a while. Only got 1 shark but that will do. Pan fried with a creamy lemon sauce on a bed of mash went down a treat

Lowering the numbers one by
Lowering the numbers one by one and getting a good feed at the same time. Wish more people in the Metro would keep a few. I gave some Shark fillets to some friends and they didn't eat them for ages because they thought it wouldn't be very nice. Once they did they were very surprised and wanting more.
Quite a few Shark species beat Snapper hands down and not many people turn down Snapper so should give Shark a go.

Gave some shovelnose to a workmate and he said it was the best fish he ever ate. I said no problems my friend I get one a night

Shovels
The bigger the shovelnose the better eating they are. The smaller ones are very tough and a bastard to fillet so its better to release them and target their bigger cousins

I have converted quite a few up here from releasing them to fillet and release. If treated the correct way they are top notch eating
