full moon

Mon, 2015-11-23 22:00

ive been told by a couple of seasoned cray fishermen that they slow right up on the full moon i baited mine today but not going to get to pull them till saterday apparently after this moon is when they are going to fire right up but im just a learner fresh from the kimberly so see wha happens one thing i do know is the Barra are going off on the fitzroy .. and the salmon fishing in roebuck bay has never been better since fisheries bought the last gill net licences out but thats miles away and yes im a little home sick ..  but a pot full of crays on the weekend should fix that ..

Know it well I was actually born n bred in Dampier the old man use to take us out there as little kids still got a couple mates in k town who I visit now an again but spent the last 24 years in Broome got to know the fishing pretty good in that time and you con still sit in a dingy 200 metres of shore there and catch big blue bone coral trout finger mark etc . Not home sick at all .. But I'm looking forward to catching my first Dhu fish and my first pink snapper if they didn't all go belly up last week .
